Where can I find a show? Here is a list of 119 places to go to find just the right one.

Before you try to locate a show, you should give some thought as to the type of show that you would like to sell in and the type of show that your product will fit in the best.

There are many different types of shows. We are going to give you a brief description of a few types of shows. These are generalizations; please be aware that actual shows may differ and a great deal is riding on the promoters of the shows and how they advertise them.

Bazaar/Flea Market. These tend to bring customers who are looking for a bargain. This isn't a good place if your crafts are high end.
Festivals/Fairs. These bring out a lot of customers; however, often these customers are there for the other events (such as sporting events, car shows, entertainment, rides, food, etc.) and may not be craft buyers.
Arts & Crafts. Customers coming to these shows are ready to buy arts & crafts.

There are many different places to go to locate a show. Here we list 16 different types of places to go to find craft shows. Then we also list 111 web-sites and 10 different publications. Many of the web-sites also allow you to sign up for their publication. Start by checking out your local resources:

A word about these web-sites: Most of these are places where you can search for a show or find listings for a show. Some are promoters' sites.
